The goal of the job fair is to merge qualified job seekers with employment opportunities to build a competent and inclusive workforce.
The job fair is open to any job seeker, however an emphasis will be placed on recruiting job seekers with disabilities.
The fair will feature a resource room, where local agencies will give information on the disability services they offer. Individual interview rooms will be available so that job seekers and employers can conduct on-site interviews. Interpreters for the deaf and programs in Braille will both be available.
Congressman David B. McKinley, R-W.Va., announced his office will host a job fair for veterans at the Erickson Alumni Center at WVU.

Local supporters gathered Monday morning to participate in an event honoring the nation’s veterans. Mountainview Elementary School Choir performed several arrangements and WVU Army ROTC participated in flag detail. Thank you to Clear Mountain Bank, to the speakers and educators who took part in coordinating the event and to all those who showed their support.
Clear Mountain Bank will have week-long activities and promotions beginning Monday, November 10, in honor of local veterans and their families.
Veterans will be eligible for special discounts including reduced interest rates on personal loans, reduced closing costs on mortgages and free patriotic checks with new checking accounts.
Clear Mountain Bank will also host flag raising ceremonies at four of its office locations on Monday, November 10. Schedule as follows:
· 8:30 a.m. – Terra Alta Office – Flag detail by Mountaineer Challenge Academy and Terra Alta VFW Post 578. Performance by Terra Alta/East Preston School Band.
· 9:00 a.m. – Pierpont Centre Office – Flag detail by Morgantown VFW Post 548. Performance by Mountaineer Middle School Orchestra.
· 10:00 a.m. – Oakland Office – Flag detail by American Legion Proctor Kildow Post 71. Performance by Crellin Elementary School Choir.
· 10:30 a.m. – Suncrest Office – Flag detail by WVU Army ROTC. Performance by Mountainview Elementary School Choir
